Judgement Call

There are many readers out there who are into different things, but to get into Louis L'Amour books all you have to do is read ten pages. As for the type of reader best fit for these books I'd have to say you should be interested in what the old "West" was all about. You also have to be somewhat adventurous because in every book of Louis's there's a journey to be taken. I recommend this book to anyone who is old enough to read because there is nothing too bad for children in it and its good enough to keep any person no matter how old entertained.

Best and Worst Parts

My favorite part of the book was when Matt saved many people from the "bad guys" and killed Clive Massey. It was such a good part because the whole book lead up to that and it kept you wondering. There really wasn't any bad part in this book. I read these books because they are so good and this one didn't fail me, but it might be nice to have one end a little differently then they all do.

Conflict and Resolution

The conflict in this book was that there were a bunch of innocent civilians riding their wagon trains into a trap. This is where they were to be destroyed and only a few people knew and believed this. The resolution is Matt Bardoul, a tough honest man. Although he was left for dead he comes to where the wagons are and makes a propaganda to kill the yellow bellied fools and does it with little help.
